Snow fell today in Vavatsinias and other communities of mountainous Larnaca, while the temperature is expected to drop below zero tonight.
As Vavatsinia community leader Andreas Gavriel told CNA, "The first snow fell in the community this morning, which is particularly beautiful as a sight and is welcome, but at the same time it brings with it problems on the road network. Specifically, the buses were unable to transport children to the elementary and high school of Lefkara, while on the road surface, in addition to the snow as the day goes by, frost is forming, which makes it difficult to move on the roads".
