After a thrilling derby that was the best advertisement for Handball, Sabbianco Anorthosis defeated Parnassos 24-21 at the "Sotirio" Athletic and finished the first phase of the Men's Championship on top with ten wins in as many matches.
According to a press release from KOH, Parnassos appeared extremely competitive and although they did not take the lead after the early stages of the game, they were nevertheless in contention for the win until the final minutes.
Now the Strovolos team is in second place with 14b (7 wins in 9 matches) with a game against APOEL in hand.
