The turnover in services increased in 2021, compared to 2020, according to data from the Statistical Office, while an impressive increase of more than 65% was recorded in the index of accommodation and catering services.
Specifically, in the period January-December 2021, the index of accommodation and food services (65.7%), administrative and support activities (15.5%), information and communication (11.2%) and professional, scientific and technical activities (4.6%) recorded increases compared to the corresponding period in 2020.
In addition, the Business Turnover Index in the fourth quarter of 2021, compared to the corresponding quarter of 202, showed an increase in accommodation and food service activities (98.2%),
