Serbia has condemned as "scandalous" Australia's decision to deport Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic because of his decision not to vaccinate against Covid-19.
In a unanimous decision, Australia's Federal Court has dismissed Djokovic's appeal against the decision by the country's Immigration Minister to cancel the 34-year-old Serb's passport visa, denying him the opportunity to challenge for the 21st Grand Slam title of his career.
"I think the Court's decision is scandalous... I find it unbelievable that we have two completely contradictory court decisions in just a few days," Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said in a statement in Belgrade.
