Concerns that Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic could be deported from Australia despite the Court's decision, Serbian Parliament Speaker Ivica Dacic expressed.
"The process should be terminated after the Court's decision on the matter," Dacic told Happy TV in Belgrade.
Despite the Court's decision, which called the revocation of Djokovic's passport visa "absurd", lawyers for the federal government testified to the court that the country's Immigration Minister, reserves the right to exercise his personal power to revoke the visa of Djokovic, who arrived in Australia to participate in the Australian Open in order to compete for the 21st Grand Slam of his career.
