Senegal confirmed their status as favourites with a 3-1 win over Equatorial Guinea in their final Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final clash.
With Liverpool's Chadiot Mane included in Senegal's starting line-up despite the injury problem he inherited from the previous match, the Lions of Teranga took the lead through Diedu on 28 minutes, with Equatorial Guinea equalising through Buila on 57 minutes. Couillaté gave Aliou Cisse's side the lead again in 68` and in 79` Sar sealed the victory, making the final score 3-1.
