Snowfall and landslides restrict traffic in mountainous Nicosia. Roads in the mountainous areas of Nicosia district are closed due to snowfall, while roads in the higher mountains of Troodos are open only for vehicles with all-wheel drive or equipped with anti-slip chains, police say.
Landslides of masses of soil and stones have occurred in places on the Gerasa-Kalou Chorio road.
