[CNA] Restoration work done, LNG terminal will not be delayed, says MoEW

The restoration works of the area where the LNG import terminal will be implemented, as well as the armouring of the coastline, have already been completed and will not be a reason to delay the construction of the terminal, the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry (MoEIB) said in a statement regarding an article in the newspaper "Phileleftheros" entitled "New bomb in natural gas - Buried dangerous materials".

In addition, the Ministry of Energy states that in the area referred to in the article, there were for years the Greek Chemical Industries which were closed down in 1995, while the demolition of the facilities took place in 2006 - 2007.
