[CNA] Residential burglaries in Chada and Letymbou

Two cases of burglary and theft are being investigated by the Paphos CID from which the unknown perpetrators obtained a total amount of 16,000 euros.


According to the Press Spokesman of the Paphos Police Directorate and head of the Paphos Police Department, Michalis Nicolaou, on 25.12.21, a 71-year-old man complained in Chada that his house was broken into, from which, according to his allegations, a small safe containing the sum of 10,000 euros in banknotes, as well as various documents, was stolen.


Members of the Paphos CID went to the scene and collected various evidence in order to identify the perpetrators.

Also on 24.12.21 on Christmas Eve a resident of the community of Letymbos complained to the Police that unknown persons broke into his residence and allegedly took 6,000 euros in cash from it. For his residence he reported
