Flags are flying at half-mast at the Cyprus Red Cross due to the death of T/C doctor Mustafa Hami who was B Vice President of the Cross, who along with condolences to his wife Ceyhun and son, Neyzat, is making a contribution of €2.000 to the Turkish Cypriot foundation for handicapped children, which is housed in the area where the Cyprus Red Cross Children's Infirmary in Kyrenia used to be before the invasion.
Hami died yesterday, January 3 and in its statement the Red Cross speaks of a respected man, a valuable colleague, a dear friend to those who knew him, a conscientious doctor, an excellent patriot, a true Cypriot.
