Readiness exercises in support of energy activities in the Cypriot EEZ were coordinated by the Search and Rescue Coordination Centre (RSRC).
Specifically, according to a statement of the Centre, in the framework of preparedness for risk situations, in support of the research activities of the company "EXXONMOBIL" within the EEZ of the Republic of Cyprus, the execution of familiarisation training flights and landings of helicopters of the Police Air Operations Unit and the 460 Search and Rescue Squadron of the National Guard, on board the drilling vessel 'STENA FORTH', before its departure for plot 10, was coordinated by the KSEED.
In addition, information visits were carried out on board this vessel by representatives of the Special Disaster Response Unit of the Fire Service, the Submarine Disaster Response Unit of the Fire Brigade, the Submarine Disaster Response Unit of the Fire Brigade, the Submarine Disaster Response Unit of the Fire Brigade, the Submarine Disaster Response Unit of the Fire Brigade and the Submarine Disaster Response Unit of the Fire Brigade.
