It is not necessary at the moment to take reaction measures, the Pancyprian Organization of Greek Teachers (PDOED) said in a statement issued on Friday.
The statement said that the Board of the POPED, at its meeting held on Thursday, assessed the situation as it has developed in recent days in schools, as far as the management of the pandemic is concerned, following the recent decisions of the Council of Ministers and the dialogue between the POPED and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth.
It is noted that the positions of the PDOED were adopted, which are expected to improve issues related to the safety and health of children and teachers and will contribute to the smooth operation of schools.
