A new addition to the permanent collection of the Leventis Gallery is the "Peasant Woman Next to Thimonia" by Theodore Rallis (1852-1909), according to an announcement.

As mentioned, in collaboration with Alpha Square and directed by Andreas Arauzos, Rallis' Greek Peasant Woman finds a home at the Leventis Gallery and is temporarily "resting" in the Leventis Gallery's temporary exhibition "Theodore Rallis: his own Greece".

The scene depicted in this work by Rallis shows us the time of the harvest.
