Problems are being created in Larnaca schools due to rainfall and closed classrooms are taking on water and this despite any repairs to the roofs, according to statements made to CNA by President of the Larnaca School Ephorate Petros Chrysostomou and the President of the Larnaca Federation of Parents of Secondary and Technical Education, Costas Costa, while today officials of the Technical Services of the Ministry of Education will visit schools facing problems in order to see the issues in person.
The President of the Larnaca School Ephorate, Petros Chrysostomou, said, "Unfortunately, the problems faced by the closed classrooms in the city's schools are chronic, since every time it rains, water gets in. We have made repairs several times, but it seems that these were not done properly, so we face the same problem every year.
