President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades describes the reform of the Local Self-Government which was approved earlier by the House of Representatives as historic.
"A historic reform today. The autonomy of municipalities and their financial viability ensures the quality of services for all citizens," President Anastasiades said in a Twitter post and thanked the political forces for voting in favour of the bills.
