The President of the Hellenic Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, who visited Paris on Wednesday, will participate in the work of the Informal Meeting of the European Council to be held in Versailles today, Thursday and tomorrow, Friday.
According to a Presidency statement, the first day of the Plenary Session will discuss the issues of EU Strategic Autonomy in the areas of Defence, as well as Energy, in the new security environment, given the ongoing war in Ukraine.
This will be followed by a dinner for European Council members to discuss the general situation in Ukraine.
