The power supply will be interrupted in certain areas on 12 January between 08:00 am - 18:00 pm and on 13 January between 08:00 am - 16:00 pm.
An announcement by the Cyprus Electricity Authority states that the affected areas are: Xylotympou, Achna Forest, Ormideia, Ormideia and Xylotympou Livestock Areas, Xylotympou Industrial Area, British Bases of Dhekelia, AHK Refugee Settlement (Dhekelia)
The outage concerns the execution of maintenance and upgrading works on equipment supplying the Dhekelia Desalination Plant and Medium Voltage equipment at the Dhekelia Transmission Substation.
Since it is not certain that the power outage will last for the entire period of time indicated, consumers should assume that their electronic installations are live,
