On Wednesday, the homicide case in the area of Vrexi in Chloraka was adjourned before the Pafos Permanent Criminal Court, due to illness of defendants with COVID-19.
For the absence of defendants 1 and 2, their counsel, lawyer Alexandros Alexandrou, said that one of them was diagnosed positive for COVID yesterday and the other is a close case contact and could not attend the trial.
Counsel for the other defendants present at the trial stated that they have no objection to the adjournment in view of the circumstances.
