Paris Saint-Germain's Argentina international striker Lionel Messi and three other players tested positive for Covid-19, the French club announced today on the eve of their trip to Van on the eve of the Coupe de France round of 16.
Defender Juan Bernat, substitute goalkeeper Sergio Rico and midfielder Nathan Bitumazala "are also positive and are in isolation and subject to the appropriate health protocols," Paris Saint-Germain said.
Yesterday, the French club said it had identified four positive cases, without revealing the identity of the players.
