Last night, members of the Police, who were on motorized patrol on the Nicosia - Troodos road, provided assistance for the immediate transfer to Makarios Hospital in Nicosia of a child in need of immediate medical treatment.
Specifically, according to a police statement, the incident occurred around 9.15 on Wednesday evening, when members of the Police Headquarters Traffic Department were on a motorized patrol on the Nicosia - Troodos road, near Astromeritis, when a vehicle approached them and the driver asked for their help, for the timely transport of his sick child to the hospital.
