A 54-year-old male resident of Deryneia was arrested by police on suspicion of drunkenness, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and driving under the influence of alcohol.
As Steve Theodoulou, spokesman for the Famagusta Police Directorate, told CNA, "late on Sunday night, February 27, members of the Paralimnii Police Station responded to a complaint from a Paralimnii resident, aged 38, regarding a disturbance caused by a 37-year-old man. Upon the arrival of Police members at the scene, a 54 year old man drove up in his car to ask the 38 year old to speak on behalf of the 37 year old as he is a relative of the 37 year old."
