[CNA] Police and Limassol Municipality on standby to deal with "Carmel"

Services are on standby to deal with any extreme weather phenomena. The police are also on standby, and according to spokesman Christos Andreou, an Action Plan has been drawn up for all cities. Limassol is also on standby, where, according to Mayor Nikos Nicolaides, special measures have been taken.

In his statements on the sidelines of the "Little Heroes" event in Limassol, Police spokesman Christos Andreou said that the service is on alert and that an Action Plan has been drawn up to deal with the situation.

"Instructions have already been given to all our members across the country to be on standby there and wherever their intervention or assistance to anyone is needed to intervene immediately.
