[CNA] PASP condemns the incidents of violence against footballers

PASP, in a statement, condemns the incidents of violence against football players and stresses that in football there is no room for violence but respect and healthy competition.

"This is the second time in recent times that football players have been victims of fan violence. PASP condemns the latest events and all forms of violence while calling on the authorities and the state to protect our members by taking measures to avoid such incidents and by finding and punishing the offenders who tarnish Cypriot football," the Association's statement reads.
