The Limassol CID on Wednesday night arrested the 37-year-old father and the 22-year-old mother of a two-month-old infant, who died on March 5 at Makarios Hospital, for the crime of manslaughter.
According to an update from the police, in the context of investigating the case of the sudden death of the infant, the autopsy on the body, which began on Tuesday and was completed on Wednesday, showed that the death resulted from a severe craniocerebral injury. In addition, the infant was found to have two other fractures and a subdural hematoma of the spinal cord.
