[CNA] Over 200 euros per megawatt-hour gas price, 230% boosted by 2022

Prices continue to gallop, for another day, on Friday, with the price of European natural gas boosted in four days by more than 70% and soared on Friday beyond 200 euros per megawatt hour, while the price of Brent oil exceeded 114 dollars a barrel within the day, as a result of developments in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

At the same time, the price of wheat continues its upward trend, which is up by more than 7% to 419 euros per tonne.

In particular, the price of the key European gas TTF (Amsterdam), April contracts, is making a new jump of 29.3%, at 208 euros per megawatt hour, while it started trading at 158.5 euros per megawatt hour.
