The Ministry of Health attributes the morning inconvenience suffered by parents and pupils to the detection of outbreaks and close contacts between officials manning the sampling points under the test-to-stay measure in schools.
Specifically, in several schools, the crews conducting rapid tests under the test-to-stay measure did not show up, resulting in a long wait for parents and students.
As the competent Ministry informed, the non-staffing of sampling points under the test-to-stay measure observed in school units was "due to the detection of cases and close contacts with officials staffing the sampling units".
