One person has died from COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths from COVID-19 to 762, while 2.815 new cases of COVID-19 disease were detected by molecular tests (PCR) and antigen rapid tests (antigen rapid test), bringing the total number of cases to 283,458, according to the Ministry of Health.
In a statement, the ministry said the positive rate was 2.49%.
The death was recorded on 9 February 2022 and involves a woman aged 78 years.
In total, 198 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in the hospitals of the OCYPY, of which 47 are in serious condition.
Specifically, four people are in the Intensive Care Unit, 14 are intubated, while 29 are in an Intensive Care Unit.
