The Ministry of Health announced on Sunday one death from COVID and 448 new cases. The hospitalized are 175 of which 60 are in serious condition. The positivity rate is 0.75% .
The number of deaths stands at 620 and cases at 145,161. According to the Ministry, 79.32% of the inpatients have no history of vaccination.
In addition, it was announced that 9 post-COVID patients who ceased to be infectious (declassified cases) continue to be hospitalized intubated in serious condition due to COVID in ICU.
A total of 59,828 tests have been performed to detect the disease by the molecular method (PCR) and the antigen rapid test (antigen rapid test).
The deceased is an 87-year-old man who died on 18 December in the Intensive Care Unit of the General Hospital.
