On-site visits to communities in Paphos District were carried out on the instructions of the Minister of Interior by Technical Engineers of the District Administration, following the earthquake that occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning, without any serious material damage being recorded, according to Paphos Prefect Mary Lambrou.
In a statement to CNA, Lambrou said that a "thorough inspection was carried out, both through telephone communications between the administrative officials of the Provincial Administration and each community leader in the communities of Paphos" and through on-site visits, on the instructions of the Minister of Interior, by technical engineers of the Provincial Administration "but nothing serious was found, except for two crumbling houses."
