The 33-year-old man and the 29-year-old woman, who were arrested in connection with 20 cases of burglary and theft, were referred for direct trial before the Permanent Criminal Court, which is sitting in Paphos on March 2.
According to a spokesman for the Paphos Police Directorate, the two persons appeared before the Paphos District Court today and were subsequently referred for direct trial before the Criminal Court which will sit in Paphos on March 2, 2022. The Court also ordered that the 33-year-old man remain in custody until March 2, 2022 when he will be brought before the Court of Cassation, while the 29-year-old woman is expected to be decided tomorrow whether or not to remain in custody.
