The Central Administrative Council (CAC) of OELMEK, according to an announcement of the Organisation, reiterates on Thursday its position on the abolition of the Quarterly Examinations, which it considers that they do not work for the benefit of the Public School and mainly for the students.
At the same time, the OELMEK calls for the immediate initiation of a dialogue to find an effective system of evaluation of students for the benefit of the students themselves and the public school in general.
After the completion of the Quarterly Examinations (1st Quarter), which were implemented this year for the first time across the entire range of the Lyceum Cycle, the OELMEK's KDS proceeded to evaluate the institution and concluded that the problems created by the implementation of the Interim Quarterly Examinations (reduction of useful teaching time, creation of a highly pressurized school curriculum
