The Attorney General of the Republic ruled that no criminal offence was established against the Mayor of Paralimni Theodoros Pyrilli, including the abuse of power, regarding the complaints made against his person in a case, concerning the tendering of tenders by the Municipality of Paralimni for the provision of facilities in beach areas within its municipal boundaries, a written statement by the Mayor said.
Mr. Pyrillis refers to "complaints to the Police against him" and notes that the Police in its own statement "informs that after studying the investigative file the Prosecutor General has advised that no criminal offence, including abuse of power, has been established".
