A new earthquake occurred at 23:04 on Wednesday night that was particularly felt in Paphos District and other cities.
According to a statement by the Department of Geological Survey the earthquake had its epicentre in the maritime area of Cyprus, 53 kilometres west-northwest of Polis Chrysochous and a focal depth of 24 kilometres. The earthquake was felt in the Paphos district, slightly felt in the Limassol and Nicosia districts and felt in eastern Cyprus and on the southern coast of Turkey.
