[CNA] New rise in construction costs, 17.4% for the Construction Materials Index

The Construction Materials Price Index showed a new increase in February, with construction costs following an upward trend since November 2020.

According to data released by the Statistical Office, the Construction Materials Price Index in February stood at 122.92 points (based on 2015=100), an increase of 1.44% compared to the previous month, while compared to the same month last year, the index recorded an increase of 17.39%.

By main product category, increases were recorded in metal products (27.15%), wood, insulation, chemical and plastic products (19.88%), electromechanical products (15.82%), mineral products (7.20%) and minerals (5.88%).
