Measures announced on Monday by Health Minister Michael Hatzipandela after the Cabinet meeting to curb the spread of the coronavirus take effect today. The decree was published yesterday in the Government's official gazette and is effective until January 15.
Specifically, from tomorrow, Thursday, children aged 5-11 years will be able to be vaccinated against Covid-19, with the vaccinations being carried out at the Ministry of Health's Maternity and Child Welfare Centres in all provinces.
In addition, vaccinated persons reported as close contacts of a confirmed positive case are required to undergo a rapid antigen detection test within 72 hours and on day 7 a PCR laboratory test free of charge through public health clinics
