[CNA] New loans increase by €38.2 million in November 2021, household deposit rate remains at historic low

Total new loans increased by €38.2 million in November 2021 to €352.5 million, compared to €314.3 million in the previous month, according to an announcement by the Central Bank of Cyprus.

Specifically, according to the CBC, new consumer loans increased to €14.4 million, compared to €12.7 million in the previous month, while new home purchase loans rose to €113.2 million, compared to €105.2 million in the previous month.

In addition, new loans to non-financial companies for amounts up to €1 million recorded an increase to €51.5 million, compared to €48.8 million in the previous month, while new loans to non-financial companies for amounts above €1 million rose to €167.2 million, compared to €125.4 million in the previous month.
