Rafa Nadal is one win away from a record 21st men's Grand Slam title, having reached the final of the Australian Open after defeating Matteo Berettini.

After a match lasting two hours and 55 minutes, the Spaniard beat the Italian world number seven 3-1 in straight sets this morning (6-3, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3) and awaits the winner of the other semi-final between Danil Medvedev and Stefan Tsitsipas in Sunday's final.

With an eventual victory on Sunday, Nadal would break the record of 20 Grand Slams, which he currently shares with Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer, and become the athlete with the most Grand Slam titles in the men's singles.
