The Ministry of Health, following the recommendations of the European Medicine Association (EMA) and the European Center for Disease Control (ECDC), announces that citizens are given the option to be vaccinated with a booster dose 3 with a different mRNA vaccine than the original vaccine regimen.

An announcement states that the recommendations by the EMA and ECDC were made as a result of a large number of clinical studies to ensure flexibility and effectiveness in vaccination schedules, which examined, among other things, the possibility of administering two different (heterologous) COVID-19 vaccines for the booster dose after the initial vaccination (known as heterologous booster).

Citizens will be able to choose a booster C dose with Pfizer-B vaccines
