The final trio of players who will compete for the 2021 World Player of the Year award was released by FIFA on Friday (7/01).
One of Lionel Messi (Barcelona/Paris Saint-Germain), Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich) and Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) will win the prestigious award, with the Argentine star, who recently won the Ballon d'Or for the seventh time in his career at France Football's annual awards, the clear favourite.
The name of the winner, which will be accompanied by the award, will be announced on Monday (17/01) at an event organised by FIFA.
