The Minister of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth, Prodromos Prodromou signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Ambassador of Greece to France, Aglaia Balta, on behalf of the Hellenic Republic, for the Hellenic Foundation (Fondation Héllenique) on the Paris University Campus (Cité Universitaire).
According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, "following the contribution of the Republic of Cyprus for the renovation of the Hellenic Foundation, the Memorandum provides for the possibility of hosting/housing a number of Cypriot students in the Foundation's facilities on the campus".
The Minister of Education thanked the Ambassador and the Greek Government, noting that this Memorandum opens up prospects both for Cypriot students and for wider cooperation in the cultural sector with the Hellenic University Foundation
