The Minister of Labour and the ACA have reached a mutually acceptable arrangement so that the affected hotel employees who will take advantage of the possibility of coverage through the AnAD Plans will receive an additional allowance for the December-January period.
According to a statement, the FCC in a meeting today with the Minister of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance raised the need to extend the coverage of seasonal hotel employees for the December - January period, who cannot be covered under the existing agreement, in relation to the Human Resources Development Authority (HRD) Plans.
This agreement, it is noted, is expected to be approved at tomorrow's Cabinet meeting.
