[CNA] Labour costs to rise 7.3% in the third quarter of 2021

Total labor costs rose 7.3% year-over-year in the third quarter of 2021, following a 17.1% annual increase in the previous quarter.

According to preliminary data from the Bureau of Statistics, total labor costs stood at 123.47 in the third quarter compared to 115.09 in the same quarter of 2020 and 111.79 in the second quarter of 2021.

The two components of labour costs, wages and salaries per hour worked and non-wage costs per hour worked increased by 3.8% and 25.5% respectively, compared to the same quarter last year.
