Ioannis Kasoulides will succeed Nikos Christodoulides as Foreign Minister, following the latter's resignation from his post as head of Cypriot diplomacy on Tuesday 11 January.
According to CNA, Kasoulides, who served as Foreign Minister during the first five years of Nicos Anastasiades' administration, had a telephone conversation with President Anastasiades this morning, as he did last Friday.
