Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides will leave on Thursday for Brest, France, where he will participate in the informal meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the European Union (Gymnich).
A press release from the Foreign Ministry said that the Gymnich will begin with a joint working lunch of the Foreign and Defence Ministers, during which the processes of shaping the Strategic Compass for EU security and defence will be discussed. [THE FOREIGN MINISTERS WILL THEN EXCHANGE VIEWS ON THE EVOLVING SECURITY SITUATION IN EASTERN EUROPE AS WELL AS ON THE CHALLENGES THE EU IS FACING IN THE EASTERN NEIGHBOURHOOD.
