The Ethics and Sports Protection Committee announced an investigation into two rally races and a basketball match, while it also took a position on requests from football clubs for disclosure of the intercom dialogues of VAR referees.
In particular, the Commission announced the appointment of lawyers Hercules Agathokleous and Marinos Armeytis as Investigating Officers to examine the possibility of manipulation of the Acropolis Rally (22/5/2021) and Tiger Rally (13-14/11/2021), as well as actions of incompatibility and possible commission of disciplinary offences, following a complaint by a citizen and a relevant decision.
Regarding a complaint by the Cyprus Basketball Federation and after studying the content of the complaint, the Commission decided to conduct an investigation into the match between ENAD and APOEL on 22/12/2021, noting that the definition of
