International law and the law of the sea is the only avenue for dealing with crises, Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias stressed, criticizing once again Turkey for stubbornly refusing to follow it and opting for the neo-Ottoman approach.

Speaking online at a Glaucus Clerides Institute conference on the future of Europe, Dendias said that the accession of Cyprus and Greece to the EU was the achievement of a major strategic goal.
