[CNA] Intensification of police checks due to increase in COVID-19 cases

The Police have intensified their checks on the implementation of the Dialysis Law amid the festive season and the increase in positive cases of Covid-19 observed.

According to a press release, controls have been intensified especially in places where there is a high level of confusion, shopping and nightclubs and shops.

Specifically, in the last 24 hours, (06:00 in the morning yesterday, Friday 24/12/2021 to 6:00 am today, Saturday 25/12/2021) the members of the Police carried out a total of 3,585 checks in various establishments nationwide, in order to ascertain compliance with the provisions of the Legislation and compliance with the relevant orders, while 19[/B] complaints were made by citizens and 5 establishments for violation of the measures.
