The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics (INGC) opens its doors to students from the wider Mediterranean and Middle East region, as part of a scholarship programme for the postgraduate programmes of the School of Molecular Medicine, promoted in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Executive Director General and Medical Director of the INGC, Professor Leonidas Phylactou presented today to Ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions from Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon on the work of the Institute, in the presence of Foreign Minister Nicos Christodoulides.
In his welcome address, the Foreign Minister referred to the Memorandum of Cooperation signed earlier this year under which the scholarship programme for students of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was established.
