Industrial production increased by 7.5% in 2021, compared to 2020, according to the Statistical Office, with most economic activities recording increases.
In December alone, the Industrial Production Index reached 137.0 points (base 2015=100), an increase of 4.7%, compared to December 2020.
The manufacturing sector saw an increase of 2.9% in December 2021 compared to December 2020.
