The signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Cyprus Police and Social Welfare Services for the referral, handling, protection and information of potential and identified victims of trafficking in persons sends a strong message of zero tolerance to this serious form of crime, it was announced on Monday by the Ministry of Justice and the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare.
The Memorandum was signed by the Minister of Justice and Public Order, Stefi Drakou, and the Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, Anastasia Anthousi, at the Ministry of Justice.
